The Three Primary Roles
Every round assigns you a duty. Understand your role to dominate the lobby.
Murderer
Your goal is to eliminate everyone in the lobby. Use stealth, throw knives from afar, and evade the Sheriff's sight at all costs.
Sheriff
You hold the only gun. Hunt down the Murderer and protect the Innocents. If you fall, any Innocent can pick up your weapon.
Innocent
Unarmed and vulnerable. Run, hide, and cooperate with the Sheriff to expose the Murderer. Pick up the gun if the Sheriff falls.

🔴 The Murderer's Guide
🗡️ Throwing Knives Mastery
Practice hitting moving targets in lobbies. Throwing a knife has a brief windup; aim slightly ahead of where the target is moving, particularly when they are running in straight lines.
👥 Stealth & Group Slaying
Never draw your knife instantly when the round starts. Blend in as an Innocent. When you find players clustered, draw and strike rapidly before they realize who it is, then hide your knife again.
🎯 Target Priority
Spot the Sheriff early. Watch for whoever is carrying the gun on their hip. Eliminate the Sheriff first to make the Innocents completely helpless, or wait for them to stand still.
🔵 The Sheriff's Guide
🛡️ Position & Spacing
Keep your distance from other players. Never let anyone walk directly behind you. Use walls for cover and keep your camera rotated so you can spot knives throwing toward you.
🔍 Spotting the Murderer
Listen closely for the stabbing sound effects and look for players chasing others. If you see a player jump over objects in a panic, they are likely escaping the Murderer.
🔫 Shoot Judiciously
If you shoot an Innocent, both you and the Innocent die instantly. Make sure you see the Murderer's knife or witness a kill before pulling the trigger.
🟢 The Innocent's Guide
🕵️ Watch the Gun
If the Sheriff dies, the gun drops to the floor. Always pay attention to where the Sheriff is. If they fall, rush to secure the gun and stand in defense of the rest of the survivors.
🏃 Evasive Maneuvers
If the Murderer chases you, run in zig-zag patterns. Jump frequently to make throwing knives miss you. Use doors and corners to break their line of sight.
📢 Active Callouts
If you discover who the Murderer is, call them out immediately in lobby chat so the Sheriff knows who to target and other Innocents can keep their distance.
